End of term House event in SKIPS
SKIPS finished off Term 1 with a House event that challenged children from Year 1 through to Year 6 to complete a variety of tasks, treasure hunts and art activities. The final challenge was for each House to create decorations and to dress a festive tree related to their House founder: Coubertin, Curie, Mandela and Shackleton.
Children from Coubertin House created decorations in the style of the Olympics with Olympic Rings, trophies and medals.
Children from Curie House created decorations with a Science theme making magnifying glasses to look like baubles.
Children from Mandela House created decorations related to reaching-out, forgiveness and peace.
Children from Shackleton House created compass and penguin decorations to celebrate this famous explorer.
The overall winners were Mandela House for their amazing design and team work, well done!
