The Enrichment programme at Sri KDU International School (SKIS) comprises sporting events, Outward Bound activities and overseas excursions.

For the 2014/2015 academic year, we achieved considerable success in the Majlis Sukan Sekolah -Sekolah Daerah / Negeri / Malaysia (MSSD / MSSS / MSSM) at the District, State, and National Levels. We hosted our first ISAKL (International Schools Association of Kuala Lumpur) event. In the current 2015/2016 year, SKIS will be competing in the ISAKL badminton, cross country, soccer, swimming and volleyball competitions. There would be many opportunities ranging from field trips and educational visits to sporting fixtures in the MSSD / MSSS / MSSM and ISAKL events.

Outward Bound

The objective of this programme is to educate and build the positive character of students. On 22-26 June 2015, a total of 56 students in Year 9 and Year 10 went on the Outward Bound trip to Lumut accompanied by teachers Mr Edward Baxter and Ms Ain Syuhada. They managed to kayak to and from Pangkor island.

Overseas Trips

As part of SKIS Enrichment programme, 28 students from Year 9 and Year 10 went on a week-long outing to England and France from 19-26 June 2015. They were accompanied by teachers Mrs Elizabeth Mason, Ms Stephanie Covez and Mr Oliver Rose. In London, the places of visit were Hyde Park, BBC Television Centre, Covent Garden and various art galleries. While in Paris, the students visited Pompidou Centre and Eiffel Tower as part of Activities Week.

For the present school year, we will be looking forward to the Inter House games, Swimming Gala and Sports Day.
